With the advent of remote working for economic resurrection, the work-life balance of most of the population has been primarily affected. As our work creeps into our living spaces, the need for dedicated workspace has been all the more pronounced through the pandemic. Dedicated areas for the various activities that entail the daily work life such as collaborative spaces for uninterrupted meetings break out spaces for relaxation and social interaction, dedicated work desks and efficient functional workspaces. With a massive shift in materiality, circulation spaces, workflows and collaborations will be seen as we create and retrofit safe workspaces. Through this shift, flexibility and adaptability will also play an essential role in workspace interior and furniture design.
